Our approach for keeping our garments out of landfill is a 5R cycle. Here’s how it works:

REDUCE:

Making sure items are made with quality materials and producers to be well made and withstand everyday wear and tear. Ensuring those items are transported and delivered in recyclable or compostable packaging.

REPAIR:

Repairing small issues with clothes instead of throwing them out. We’ve partnered with Remote Equipment Repairs, a technical clothing repair business that specialises in stretch repairs. Contact us to repair all your tired spandex. 

REUSE, REPURPOSE AND RECYCLE:

Once you are ready to hand your old cycling kit over, sell it or donate it on places like facebook marketplace and then if that is not possible, look to repurpose or recycle. We’ve partnered with Textile Recyclers Australia to reuse, repurpose and recycle your unwanted cycling clothes. Contact us to repurpose and recycle all your tired spandex.
