Compost you bags
Our compostable postage satchels and garment bags are designed to break down under the right composting conditions.
Here's what to do:
- Reuse first. Our postage satchels have a second adhesive strip, so you can give them another trip.
- Remove labels and stickers. Keep these out of your compost.
- Cut into smaller pieces. If the bags are certified home compostable, add them to your home compost and allow time to break down.
- No compost? Visit ShareWaste to find someone nearby who may be able to help.
A little heads-up: Compostable bags don't belong in your regular recycling bin. And don't put them in your council green bin unless your council specifically accepts that type of packaging.
Recycle the paper bits
Our cardboard and paper packaging, swing tags and stickers can have another life.
Here's what to do:
- Flatten cardboard boxes and inserts.
- Remove any attached string, pins or non-paper components.
- Place clean, recyclable cardboard and paper tags in your household recycling bin.
Small stickers, adhesive labels and mixed-material components generally belong in general waste unless a suitable recycling option is available.
Keep the useful bits
Some things are too handy to throw away.
